you need a brush or sponge. however, get them a little damp or a little wet. not soaking wet, or leave a trail of water behind wet. we're talking damp. that way, it's easier to move over the skin, and it goes on smoother. you can ask for makeup tips from a MAC cosmetics counter, or any cosmetics counter in your department store (like Macy's). i would suggest putting on a light moisturizer first, and then the mousse. not only will it keep your skin nice, it'll help when you want to remove your makeup. good luck! How do i apply rimmel cool matte mousse foundation?
Your fingers are your best blending tool.

Try again, and make sure you've exfoliated and applied moistruzer beforehand.

I've got it, and it works well for me.

Use your finger and dot a dot on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin (where you want the foundation) and wait a few minutes, and then blend it. You might find it's easier to blend because it's adjusted to your skin temprature.

Don't use too much when you do the dots in those areas. Use a small amount, and if you need more after you've blended it, then put more on.
1.Apply it first with a sponge evenly over the face.

2. With your fingers blend it in.

3. Dust a light powder over the top to reduce shinyness

Its easy! I don't know what you are getting fussed about! Mabey its not blending in because you haven't got the right colour for your skin.
fingers are the best way to use it. you might wanna try 2 fingers at a time and try patting it on your skin instead of smearing it. this stuff drys fast so make sure your only doing one area of your face at a time. once you've applied do not reapply!
Give it up... I really don't like the mousse foundations. They are heavy and hard to apply. Cut your losses and go back to a liquid.
